• My husband, myself and our 3 children (16/12/6) stayed in this lovely property for a 2 week August break. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. Little things extra in the cupboards like oil, red wine vinegar (came in very handy following a wasp sting) and herbs just made everything a little more convenient. The kids loved the PS2 and wii ... was fun in the evenings to do as a family. The house could not be better situated - beautiful garden with table and loungers leading directly to a very family friendly pool - shallow end as you come out of the gate. The pool itself didn't get stupidly deep either and adults could comfortably stand up. My children loved it. Lots of loungers around the pool and everyone is so friendly. We decided we didn't want to hire a car and would like to get away from the hussle and bustle of our normal lives - wow does Anarita do that! A 15 min easy walk to the beautiful small village, a small supermarket for essentials, a lovely English style pub with amazing people running it who also sell food. A traditional eatery and a more upmarket Italian restaraunt meant there was lots of choice. If we walked out of Anarita Chorio the other way and over the hill we found another traditional tavern selling amazing Cypriot food. All very reasonably priced - we ate out every night except one and spent 1300 the entire holiday - that included taxi transfers from the airport and a bus ride into Paphos old town and a taxi back. For 5 people for 2 weeks we were impressed ... we also celebrated our anniversary and my sons 16th birthday in that which included more alcohol and food! The owner Rowena was the loveliest person I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with when booking a holiday. Helpful, accommodating and just lovely. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting a perfect piece of heaven and a holiday away from everything! The couple maintaining the house were so friendly and helpful, Stuart in particular helped us with a couple of things that we felt were above and beyond - he's a real asset to the holiday let. If you hired a car you could easily get to lots of local attractions, I believe there is a water park and there is lots of room to park near the holiday home. Thank you Rowena x Michelle R 10 08 2017
  • As two couples in their late 20?s that have busy lives we wanted a relaxing week away....that is what we got. The location of Anarita Chorio was perfect for us. The apartment is clean, modern and has more than enough room for 4 adults. It was exactly like the photos, better in fact. It?s equipped with all the mod cons and is in a safe, quiet, clean location. The only thing you hear at night is the frogs. It was easy to book, Rowena and Mark are extremely friendly and answered all our questions. We just had to find the best flight deal on sky scanner.

It is a very short drive from the airport and about 20 minutes from Paphos harbour. We would recommend having a car if you stay here, especially if you want to get out and see the sites (we have since been told by the locals that Elephant is the best place to get car hire). Having the car meant we could shop in the bigger super market in Paphos which had everything you could possibly need (bakery, butcher, etc...) and at a better price than the little local shop and more variety, as you would expect. However, the little local shop wasn?t badly priced and was in walking distance for the essentials

All the residents at Anarita Chorio are super ? friendly, fun, polite and more than willing to help with any questions you have. We couldn?t have asked for anything more!

There is a local bar (Jo?s bar) that has a great menu and at good prices ? they do 3 courses for 13 EURO. There is also another tavern up the track (when you arrive you will see the sign) ? this also served beautiful food for a good price.

I really couldn?t recommend this place enough ? we will be back!! Raggle from Warwickshire 13 June 2012
  • We had a relaxed and fabulous holiday here.
I booked and done everything through e-mail to which Rowena and Mark made very easy as any questions I had were answered very quickly. The house was immaculate and clean with lots of storage space which we found very handy especially with 2 older children! The children loved the swimming pool which was right outside. The residents on the complex were lovely people and made us feel very welcome. We had a meal at Jo`s Diner which is walking distance from the house, it is very reasonably priced and the owners are very friendly. We done all our food shopping in Paphos (15-20mins away) as there is a large supermarket with everything you could need. All in all we had a super holiday. Thank you. • We had a very lovely time in a very lovely location. Anarita is a very nice place to stay. Really close to the airport and Paphos town but in a quiet location. the village has a couple of realy nice restaurants. The house was lovely - had everything we needed and the pool was great to lie by and have a refreshing dip. We will certainly be coming back again.
